Several years ago in a shopping mall a four-year-old boy saw kids lined up to see Santa Claus. Having been taught that Christmas is when Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus, he asked his mother, “Where’s the line to see Jesus”?

That question set in train a series of events that eventually saw Becky Kelley recording this song and video. It really is a beautiful and quite moving song, but with my poor hearing the singer’s diction makes the words difficult to understand. I had to find the lyrics in order to see what it was all about.
