Singing the Hallelujah Chorus silently

In December 2008, in a concert at South Kitsap high school in Washington state, a group of students performed the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s The Messiah. Instead of singing, however, they displayed words printed on boards in time to a recording. The result was hilarious, and very popular. At this time, the video of that performance has had nearly 22 million views.
